Channeling The 70's

For the longest time, I've envisaged what I would look like dressed as a full on  dancing queen and I guess, it's time to find out. Thanks to a wig from my cousin, a top from my aunt and a pair of jeans I dreaded for the longest time, I now know what I would look like if I got hold of Doctor Who's time machine and traveled to the 70's.

Over the summer holiday, I recently became a turtleneck convert and I must say, I'm loving the life. However, never ever would I have thought I would love bell bottom jeans. My mum got me these jeans ages ago and trust me to toss it into the back of my closet and never looked back. We were recently sorting through my wardrobe and I came across them and I wanted to toss them but mum said I should give them a try and I'm glad I did.

Unfortunately for me I don't have a pair of them clear heeled boots to tie it all together, anyways I figured that a pair of heeled sandals would do. As always, I kept the accessories to a minimum and I hope you like the look as much as I do.

  1. I love everything about this love, from the hair to the complete outfit itself.
Girl, I want them jeans. Like I get why you dumped them in your closet for a long time. I do that to almost every outfit my mum gets for(i'm like she is so old school*forgive me mom*)
Thank God you finally decided to wear them.. You should wear them more often..

  2. Alexis, this is the kind of look I admire and I wish to adapt. In love with the demin jacket. Looks super great on you and the way you have carried it, absolutely gorgeous.

  3. Jeans jackets and pants were a trend for a longer period i guess even till 90's or maybe it repeated. This looks cool in winters and goes perfect with black sweater.
